This film event appeared first on the “Top Hat And Butter Popcorn”: program that aired bi-monthly on the Fairfax County (VA) cable television station, Channel 10. It was hosted by John Savers. 28 DAYS is a vehicle for Sandra Bullock. She has a problem with alcohol overuse. This was another movie (there have been many) dealing with an addicted person trying to perceive and overcome their problem. Some of these characters have been loveable sorts, such as Jack Lemon’s character in THE DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES. Bullock’s character doesn’t quite make it.
