With millennials reportedly buying less traditional beers, Refinery 29 asks, “Are booze-free bars the future of going out?”
Maybe.
Many studies, including a widely reported one by BMC Public Health in 2018 found that the amount of non-drinkers are up 18% since 2015.
Another study said that 28% of “young millennials” (people aged 24-31) prefer drinking at home as opposed to a bar.
Many non-alcoholic ‘dry bars’ are popping up in places like New York City and Ann Arbor.
