ASD presents an interactive session with educators from Freedom From Chemical Dependency (FCD), helping parents to understand messages their kids are getting about drinking and drugs and sharing ways to engage in these important conversations as a family. Parents cannot shield their children from all the input that the Internet and media provide. Join us as we explore ways that parents of students in Grades 5-8 can use the messages children receive as teachable moments to communicate their own values and teach responsible behavior surrounding drug and alcohol use.
