Emily Hirsch has checked himself into rehab after allegedly choking a female Paramount executive last month during the Sundance Film Festival. Hirsch’s attorney Robert Offer released a statement Friday, saying, “Emile consumed an enormous amount of alcohol on the evening in question and he has no memory of what happened. Emile takes these allegations very seriously, and is devastated that any of this has occurred.” The incident occurred on Jan. 25 at Tao Nightclub in Park City, Utah. The alleged victim, Paramount exec Dani Bernfeld, claimed Hirsch placed her in a chokehold and dragged her onto the floor, saying she was a “rich kid who should not be at Sundance.”
