Eminem is getting candid and opening up about the drug addiction he says nearly killed him. When he was at the top of his game, no one knew the real slim shady was battling a deep, dark addiction to prescription pills. In the new documentary How to Make Money Selling Drugs, Eminem reveals his battle started with Vicadin, then led to him mixing pills, like Xanax and Valium. And ultimately he wound up in the hospital in critical condition. And he says after another relapse, he detoxed alone, revealing, “I had to regain motor skills, I had to regain talking skills.”
