Heretical Minds Episode 12: Technology Dependency and Addiction

Thursday Chris and Joseph will be analyzing technology dependence and addiction in a variety of ways.  First they will define the differences ,if there are any, between addiction and dependency.  Second they will look at the situation on two scales, micro and macro.  Looking into the personal aspect of our modern lives, do we show symptoms of social dysfunctions from our constant connectivity, do we display what psychologists would say are clinical signs of addiction to our gadgets and devices, and most importantly what could we do to alleviate these potential problems?  Finally the analysis will move to the macro scale where we will talk about the human race and the sociological changes that have been occurring as we move closer and closer to a global network, economy, and possibly government for the more Utopian among us.  Join us and as Questions in the hangout and chats and we will address your thoughts LIVE!

This is the newest series to be premiering on the Atheist Analysis Network and will be concentrating on psychological phenomena and their many biological implications, new or cutting edge scientific developments, and the political consequences of new scientific, psychological, and engineering discoveries. Joseph brings years of expertise as a practicing psychology major and former devotee of the church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints while Chris is a Mechanical Engineering entrepreneur and life long non believer.
