Weezy says no to booze? Hey peeps! I’m Bridget Daly for ClevverMusic! According to a new report, Lil Wayne may be turning over a new leaf! TMZ reports that his I Am Still Music Tour will be alcohol free! Sources say the concerts will feature quote “a dry backstage as we are committed to keeping a safe and professional atmosphere to ensure a smoothly running tour.” Don’t worry—if you’re a concert goer you’re free to booze it up—this is just a policy for the backstage VIPs, which if you ask us, may make for a very different scene than usual. In addition, Weezy’s tour bus will also be free of any alcoholic beverages to prevent any temptation.
So what’s the reason for all this you ask? As you might remember, Wayne is still serving a three-year probation that bans him from drinking any alcohol until 2013. And so far, being drug and booze free hasn’t messed with Weezy’s charisma on stage, so we say kudos for sticking with it! Wayne’s tour continues on thru the summer and early fall, ending on September 11th. So is Lil Wayne growing up a little after his prison stint?
