Michael Phelps, one of the most decorated Olympians of all time is opening up about his inner demons. In an upcoming interview on the Today show the swimmer spoke about his past struggles with alcohol that resulted in two DUI arrests. Phelps commented, “I think my mom was happy that I was alive because I think she saw the sort of the path that I was going down,” Phelps, 30, first start spiraling out of control in 2004 when he was arrested for driving under the influence in Salisbury, Md.
