Hilary & Martin from NACOA, and Rosie from COAP talk about parental alcoholism and the support that is out there for the annual Children of Alcoholics Week. COA Week is a campaign led by Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) to raise awareness of children affected by parental alcohol problems. Helpline number 0800 358 3456. Organisations such as COAP (Children of Addicted Parents and People) help to raise awareness in this week. You can visit the COAP online community and message boards here coap.org.uk. Join 100’s of other young people in similar situations. Together we can increase awareness of this hidden problem and the support available. Children of Alcoholics Week is celebrated internationally each year during the week in which Valentine’s Day falls. www.nacoa.org.uk www.coap.org.uk www.coaweek.org.uk
