A Sovereign Health Group Addiction Program alumnus, Russ, shares his experience in the program. He chose Sovereign Health because it offered a great program in a comfortable situation. He works in the rehabilitation industry at a funded facility in New Jersey with a dormitory setting, so he knows a lot about the industry but wanted a place out of state to maintain his anonymity.
Sovereign Health really impressed him. Russ appreciated that Sovereign Health treated him like an adult, especially that he had his freedom to make the program into what he needed and wanted, choosing what would help him the most. He really appreciated Sovereign Health’s ability to make him feel welcome when he first arrived, especially as he felt under the weather when he arrived. His kids tell him that they got their dad back from 10 years ago.
Russ felt right at home in the residence and appreciates the house managers. He learned a lot about himself and the important aspects in recovery, even though he thought he knew everything from having worked in the industry. He also appreciates the aftercare program.
