President Donald Trump shared the memory of his older brother Fred Trump on Thursday while declaring a national emergency on opioids. The president revealed that alcoholism was what led to his brother’s death at the age of 43 in 1981. Trump said his administration will start “a massive advertising campaign” encouraging Americans not to use drugs. He said, “They will see the devastation and the ruination it causes to people and people’s lives.
